Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Amar Singh, who was admitted to a hospital in Singapore, passed away on Saturday. Amar Singh had been ailing at a hospital in Singapore for the past few months. Singh, who was under treatment there, had earlier undergone a kidney transplant.
Famous anchor Rajdeep Sardesai wrote on twitter, "Breaking now: Amar Singh, who not too long ago was one of the more powerful politicians in the country, has passed away.. RIP"
