A wedding of a DSP in Lahore was echoed with gunshots but it was not celebratory. On Sunday, a Pakistan underworld don Ameer Balaj Tipu was shot dead by an unidentified gunman at a Lahore wedding. As per Pakistani media reports, the gunman entered the Lahore wedding in disguise as a guest. Thereafter, the gunman acted to take a selfie with Ameer Balaj Tipu and during that, he shot the Lahore underworld don. As a result, Ameer Balaj Tipu died on the spot and a massive panic was created at the wedding venue. Now, multiple Ameer Balaj Tipu's firing videos are doing rounds on social media.
In one of the Ameer Balaj Tipu firing videos, the Lahore Don's associate can be seen holding a gun and firing anonymously in rage. Ameer Balaj Tipu's armed associates swiftly retaliated by shooting dead the unknown attacker, but despite best efforts, the Lahore underworld don could not be saved and he succumbed to his injuries at the Jinnah hospital. In the viral video, a man can be heard asking who killed him. The man can be seen trying to find more men. Thereafter, the man runs away and multiple gunshots can be heard.
Who was Ameer Balaj Tipu?
Apart from being a top underworld don of Lahore, Ameer Balaj Tipu was the owner of a goods transport network. As per Pakistani media reports, Ameer Balaj Tipu was infamous for being one of the most feared personalities in Lahore's underworld. Ameer Balaj Tipu's family has a history of violence, as Balaj's grandfather has been embroiled in an age-old feud. Balaj's father Arif Amir, alias Tipu Truckanwala, himself fell victim to a fatal attack in 2010 at the Allama Iqbal airport and succumbed to injuries sustained during the gunfire. Balaj was considered one of the few dons of Lahore's underworld who had generations of enmity.
