Amid concerns of horse trading in Goa , Punjab and Uttarakhand; Congress may airlift it’s contesting MLA's to avert poaching

In contrast to what exit polls are showing in the poll bound states, Congress is planning to puts it’s contesting MLA's in safe places. As per the internal survey Congress is backing itself to form it’s government in all of three states.

Congress party has started being proactive in order to prevent it’s Contesting MLA’s from flying to the other political group amid concerns of horse trading. Congress believes it has much chances of forming government in Goa, Uttarakhand and Punjab.


In such a situation, Congress has given Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel the authority to take control of the situation in Uttarakhand, while as Ajay Maken and DK Shivakumar will take care control of situation in Punjab and Goa respectively.


As per the internal Survey, Congress believes to bag over 35-40 seats in Uttarakhand, enough to form it’s own govt. In order to not let BJP get hold of those MLA’s Bhupesh Baghel will take control of things on ground and may have to do everything to keeps the MLA’s intact.


In Goa, Congress lost a bunch of it’s MLA’s to BJP in the last assembly elections which eventually led to BJP forming it’s government in the state. So for this time Congress has put up an authority under the leadership of DK Shivakumar to keep check on things and avert poaching.
 

In Punjab, where Congress had the incumbent government, is looking to lose major seats as exit polls show AAP winning much on the ground. However internal sources say that Congress is the strong position in Punjab. So in order to take control of things Rajasthan leader Ajay Maken will be present on the ground.


The leaders have been given the duty to prevent the horse trading of Congress contesting MLA’s. As per sources, if situation goes out of hands then the contesting MLA’s can be airlifted to safe places too
