The superstar is not only a charming and dashing actor on screen but he is also a great man with a soft heart. Amid the Assam floods the people are really trying hard to recover from the damage.
Akshay is willing to be a part of the relief programs in the state and donating 1 core rupees. The floods had a massive effect on the people and the state, around 15 people were dead and about 46 lakhs are in brief grief.
The agricultural land in several areas of Assam seems to be in an overwhelming condition which is about 90,000 hectares.

In an interview, talking about his noble work the actor said "Absolutely heartbreaking to know about the devastation by floods in Assam. All affected, humans or animals, deserve support in this hour of crisis. I'd like to donate 1cr each to the CM Relief Fund and to Kaziranga Park rescue."
The park is all soaked in water and 10 lakh of the wildlife is being affected in this nature unloved disaster.
He also asserted that people should recognize the need to help and should contribute to the rescue of the people of Assam.
