Amidst mounting pressure VP rejects to strip President Trump of his duties

Donald-Trump 25th-Amendment America

US Capitol unrest and its implications have led the house to formally ask the Vice President Mike Pence to invoke 25th amendment and strip the President Trump of his duties after his alleged role in inflaming the people.

The vote comes after the House Democrats introduced an article of impeachment considering storming of the Capitol. Republicans objected to the unanimous passing of orders to declare Trump incapable of discharging his duties.

Anticipated as a peace offering, Trump met Pence at the Oval office for more than an hour after almost a week since the mob-assault on the Capitol. The Vice President had made it clear that he would not force Trump to step down.

As the President is not expected to resign, the Democrats have started preparing to impeach him by preparing a report of his actions. Meanwhile, Donald Trump had said that the Impeachment move is 'very dangerous' for the US.
