Amitabh Bachchan donates Rs 2 crore to Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Center

The Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has given a donation of Rs 2 crore to Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Center in Delhi during the difficult times of the Covid pandemic. Whenever the country has faced difficulties, Amitabh Bachchan has come forward to help with donations or any other kind of help. Now another big announcement of help has come from his side.

The money donated by Amitabh Bachchan will be used to purchase oxygen cylinders from abroad. Information about this donation made by Amitabh Bachchan has been given by Manjinder Singh Sirsa of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee’s tweet. Manjinder wrote in a tweet, 'Sikhs are legendary. Salute to the service of Sikhs. These were the words of Amitabh Bachchan ji when he contributed Rs 2 Cr to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Care Facility. While Delhi was grappling for oxygen, Amitabh Ji called me almost daily to ensure about the progress of this facility”.

To be noted that Amitabh Bachchan has taken the initiative to help earlier as well when the country was going through difficult times. This time he has made sure that oxygen concentrators get shipped on time.

On the other hand, he is fully ready to return to the small screen once again.
