Amitabh Bachchan recalls the seventies-era, and compares theaters with OTTs

Amitabh Bachchan is one of the busiest megastars in B-Town. Amitabh Bachchan is an enthusiast social media user, and actively shares the present and throwback pictures. Now, he has revisited the era of the 1970s, the time when he gave some blockbuster hits including, Don, Trishul, Ganga Ki Saughandh, and Muqadar Ka Sikandar.

Comparing now and then, Amitabh recalled the times when the success of the film was measured by the weeks it was screened in the cinema halls. Amitabh posted his pictures from the ’70s and wrote, “The 1970s… and the years when films did 50 weeks and 100 weeks… and 6-7 of them were released on the same year. DON, TRISHUL, KASAME VADHE, MUQQADAR KA SIKANDAR, etc., and all doing more than 50 weeks… now OTT millions make success graph.

Big B recently tweeted and informed his extended family, as he says, that he will be a part of Deepika Padukone's starred film ‘The Intern’. The superstar will play the role of Rishi Kapoor, who was signed for the role earlier. Big B tweeted, “One more time… Indian Adaption of #TheIntern. Looking forward to working with @deepikapadukone, @iAmitRSharma, @warnerbrosindia, and more.” 

Reportedly, Big B will be seen in the movie ‘Chehre’, apart from this his upcoming movies are, ‘Jhund’, ‘MayDay’, Bharmastra’, the film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
