The nation has seen an increase in COVID 19 cases in various states over the last few weeks, and the COVID 19 vaccination campaign is in full swing at the same time. Many Bollywood stars have also got their first dose of the COVID 19 vaccine, and megastar Amitabh Bachchan has now confirmed to fans that he has. In a blog post, Amitabh Bachchan announced that he and his entire family, with the exception of his son Abhishek Bachchan, received the first dose of the vaccine.
Big B announced in a blog post dated April 1-2 that he and his family tested negative for COVID 19 after getting vaccinated. Not only that, but he also said that all is fine after taking the first jab with his family. Big B also revealed that Abhishek could not receive the first dose because he is in the city filming for his film. He told Abhishek that he, too, would receive the vaccine once he returned to the area. He also added at the end of the post that he will remind everyone about the vaccine protocol.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan's recently released film Chehre has been postponed due to an increase in COVID 19 cases in the country and the resulting restrictions. Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty, and others star alongside Big B in the film. Rumy Jafry directed it, and Anand Pandit produced it. The latest release date is still unknown.
