Big B announced in a blog post dated April 1-2 that he and his family tested negative for COVID 19 after getting vaccinated. Not only that, but he also said that all is fine after taking the first jab with his family. Big B also revealed that Abhishek could not receive the first dose because he is in the city filming for his film. He told Abhishek that he, too, would receive the vaccine once he returned to the area. He also added at the end of the post that he will remind everyone about the vaccine protocol.
Sharing the news, Big B also dropped a photo of himself taking the first jab. He posted a photo of himself getting a shot from a health worker. He is dressed in a white kurta pyjama with big glasses and a headgear.Amitabh wrote, "DONE .. vaccination done .. all well .. did Covid test for family and staff yesterday .. results came today .. all good , all negative .. so done the vaccine .. all family done except Abhishek .. he be on location and shall do it on return soon in a few days .. ."
Amitabh, Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai, and Aaradhya, Amitabh's granddaughter, all tested positive for the disease last year. Though Amitabh and Abhishek were the first to be admitted to the hospital, the mother and daughter were admitted later. Abhishek was the last to recover, and it took him nearly a month.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan's recently released film Chehre has been postponed due to an increase in COVID 19 cases in the country and the resulting restrictions. Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty, and others star alongside Big B in the film. Rumy Jafry directed it, and Anand Pandit produced it. The latest release date is still unknown.
