The hunt for Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh entered day 5 on Wednesday and the pro-Khalistan leader is still absconding. On Wednesday, CCTV footages surfaced showing how Amritpal Singh changes his vehicles in order to escape from Punjab Police. On Tuesday evening videos had surfaced showing Amritpal Singh changing vehicles from Mercedes to Brezza and then to a motorcycle. Now, Amritapl Singh's latest picture has surfaced. This time, Amritpal Singh was seen on a 'bike thela' after his motorcycle broke down. DIG Jalandhar confirmed the authenticity of Amritpal Singh's latest picture. Notably, the bike on which Amritapl Singh escaped has been recovered. As per Jalandhar SSP Swarnadeep Singh, Waris Punjab De Chief fled on a Platina bike which has now been recovered by Punjab Police from village near Jalandhar. On Tuesday, a video of Amritpal Singh surfaced where he was seen changing his look in Nangal Ambia Gurudwara and escaping from there.

The information regarding the location from where the bike was found has not come out till now. It is only being stated that bike was found in the area near Jalandhar. Adding to this, another piece of information doing rounds is that Amritpal Singh’s social media handler Gurinder Pal Singh Aujla has been booked under the NSA Act and is a resident of Jalandhar. Further development about the story is awaited.

For the unversed, a CCTV surfaced where Amritpal Singh was seen getting out of Brezza car, changing his clothes and then riding on bike and escaping from the scene. Two bikes were seen and along with Amritpal Singh, 3 others helped him to escape. As per the information Amritpal Singh went to Nangal Ambia’s gurudwara, changed his clothes and left his sword there only. Punjab IG Sukhchain Singh Gill conducted a press conference on Tuesday and gave information about the same. He stated that people who helped Amritpal Singh in escape have been arrested. All of them have been booked under Arms Act. Along with this, another case has been lodged against them for helping an accused in escaping from police’s custody. These associates include Manpreet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Harpreet Singh and Gurpesh Singh.
