The crackdown against Amritpal Singh entered its 4th day and still there is not much clue about him. Punjab Police has increased its manhunt to find Waris Punjab De Chief and certain evidence has also surfaced regarding the same. A CCTV footage of Amritpal Singh has gone viral in which he can be seen escaping on bike after changing his look to dodge Punjab Police.
Reportedly, a CCTV has surfaced where Waris Punjab De Chief can be seen getting out of Brezza car, changing his clothes and then riding on bike and escaping from the scene. Two bikes can be seen and along with Amritpal Singh, 3 others can be seen helping him to escape. As per the information Amritpal Singh went to Nangal Ambia’s gurudwara, changes his clothes and left his sword there only.
Punjab IG Sukhchain Singh Gill conducted a press conference on Tuesday and gave information about the same. He stated that people who helped Amritpal Singh in escape have been arrested. All of them have been booked under Arms Act. Along with this, another case has been lodged against them for helping an accused in escaping from police’s custody. These associates include Manpreet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Harpreet Singh and Gurpesh Singh.
Till now, police have arrested 122 people, of which 7 have been sent to Assam’s Dibrugarh.
