Waris Punjab De President Amritpal Singh continues to raise the eyebrows of security agencies along with State & Central governments. Courtesy of his 'pro-Khalistan' and war-mongering speech, the Waris Punjab De President has come under the scanner of security agencies at the mere age of 29. The Ministry of Home Affairs has already cautioned the Punjab Government to remain vigilant on Amritpal Singh. Furthermore, Amritpal's Twitter account has also been suspended in order to restrict him to spread 'anti-India' propaganda on social media. For the unversed, Amritpal Singh came to India from Dubai in August and burst into Punjab's religio-political scene after he took over Waris Punjab De, an organization formed by late actor-activist Deep Sidhu. His 'dastarbandi' was done in Rode, the native village of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and on September 29, he called upon the people of Punjab to declare war against 'Dilli Hukumat'. However, what remains a mystery is why Amritpal Singh came back to India after 10 years and suddenly became so much proactive in the Khalistan or let's say 'anti-India' movement.

Amritpal Singh mystery

Revolving Waris Punjab De President Amritpal, there are two theories and both are concerning. The first theory revolves around Amritpal Singh that he was allegedly trained by Pakistan's secret agency ISI's Dubai module and was sent to India to provide leadership to the Khalistan movement from inside Indian territory. In the past few years, the Khalistan movement has gained significant traction, especially in Canada where the banned organization Sikh For Justice recently held a referendum despite India's MEA strong protest.

The other theory revolving around is also concerning. It is said that Amritpal Singh was sent by an Indian Bureaucrat working in the India security agency. Meaning, Amritpal was planted in India by an Indian democrat in order to give a new push to the Khalistan movement so that the peace prevailing in Punjab go for a toss.

Who is Amritpal Singh?

A resident of Jallupur Khera in Amritsar, Amritpal Singh is the youngest of the three children of Tarsem Singh and Balwinder Kaur. While Tarsem keeps shuttling between Dubai and India, Balwinder Kaur lives in the village. Though he remained active on Facebook since 2012 when he went to Dubai, often taking up issues concerning Punjab, Amritpal never had much traction before 2019 when he came out in support of farmers’ agitation against the now-repealed farm laws. He was also a vocal supporter of Deep Sidhu and the role the Punjabi actor played in the farm stir. Amritpal’s reach on social media increased by leaps and bounds after he got associated with Deep Sidhu.

Punjab government on Amritpal Singh

After Amritpal Sing spilled venom from Bhindravale's native village, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema stated that the government will not let the peace of the state get disturbed. Called Amritpal Singh a 'threat to India', Cheema assured that the Punjab government will initiate legal action against the President of Waris Punjab De. Sukhjinder Randhawa, former deputy CM of Punjab also appealed to the AAP government to initiate action against Amritpal and stated that a threat is also upon leaders like Prakash Badal, Captain Amarinder, and Sukhbir Badal. Randhawa also sensed Pakistan's angle in Amritpal Singh's case.
