From the time Amritpal Singh has become the President of an organization named Waris Punjab De, he had grappled all the headlines for his ‘pro-Khalistan’ remarks. Sometime back, a journalist filed a complaint against him alleging that he along with his family is getting threats from the Chief. Reportedly, for the same an investigation has also been launched by the police to seek action against him.

Now, the latest development that has come to this is that the Twitter account of Amritpal Singh had been banned by the Indian government as his remarks are creating a state of unrest in the country, especially Punjab. Not only the Central government, but the chief has also come under the radar of the state government.

Congress President Punjab, Raja Warring also shared a Tweet which revealed that he has written a letter to the DGP seeking strict action against the Waris Punjab De Chief. The letter to DGP and the ban on Amritpal Singh’s account have raised the question about the government planning to take serious steps against the chief of Waris Punjab De.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has also notified the state government to remain vigilant over the activities of Amritpal Sigh. The reports further suggest that the MHA has instructed the state to send a file over AMritpal Singh and his Waris Punjab De organization.
