While it is a hard fact that security forces and Police officers of India gave their day and night to maintain law and order, they hardly get time to lose themselves a bit. Quite obviously it is important for everyone to enjoy their life, but Amritsar's Police Commissioner Naunihal Singh came up with an idea to organize a 'Bada Khaana' in order to commemorate and express his gratitude to traffic cops who carried out their duty for continuous 72 hours for successful completion of the Northern Zonal Council meeting last week in Amritsar.

For the unversed, Bada Khaana is a custom in all uniformed forces, army, and police to motivate the force and improve the interaction between jawans and the officers. The Northern Zonal Council meeting took place on September 26, 2023, in Amritsar and it saw prominent leaders of India accumulating in a single building including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khatter, and more.

Now, a video is doing rounds on social media in which Amritsar's Police Commissioner Naunihal Singh was seen dancing to Punjabi song along with DCP Parminder Singh Bhandal. Apart from Naunihal Singh and DCP Parminder Singh Bhandal, many other officers were also seen enjoying celebrating the success of the Northern Zonal Council meeting in the Bada Khaana.

During the 2023 NZC meeting, Punjab CM Mann strongly opposed the demand of Rajasthan for member in Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). The Chief Minister said that BBMB is a body constituted under the provisions of the Punjab Reorganization Act 1966, which primarily deals with the successor States of Punjab and Haryana. He said that the state of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh or any other State for that matter is not concerned at all under provisions of the above said Act. Bhagwant Singh Mann therefore, strongly opposed the proposal of having a third member in the BBMB from the State of Rajasthan or Himachal Pradesh.
