Amritsar-Milan Direct Flight Update
As per reports, Amritsar to Milan direct flight services will be operated by the NEOS flight. It will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Fridays. It will follow the same route for both arrival and return. The airline has already started ticket bookings. The aircraft, with a seating capacity of 359 passengers, will also feature onboard Wi-Fi, enhancing passenger convenience and connectivity during the long-haul journey.
Airport Manager Amit Sharma was quoted saying, “The Milan-Amritsar route is vital for thousands of NRIs and business travellers. The suspension on May 6 was due to India-Pakistan tensions. Now that things have returned to normal, services will resume from July 2.”
The Milan-Amritsar corridor is especially significant due to the large Punjabi population settled in northern Italy. The return of this direct flight is expected to eliminate the hassle of layovers in Delhi or other major cities.
Talking about the Amritsar-Milan direct flight ticket price, MakeMyTrip has listed a per-person ticket price at Rs 40,123 (while writing). It will be a 10-hour 50-minute flight. It will take off from Amritsar Airport at 23:15 and will land at Milam Airport at 6:35.
