A video of a man who can be seen controlling the traffic in a jam-packed Amritsar market with a gun in his hand, after he got stuck is taking the internet by storm.

Reportedly the incident is said to be coming from the Putlighar-based Shimla market in the heart of Punjab’s pious city. It was around 5.30 in the evening on Saturday when traffic mobility came to a sudden halt after commuters in huge numbers swarmed the market.

Among the several cars stuck in the jam, there was this man in his white car who got agitated after he was unable to move in the jam for over 10 minutes.

He resorted to taking control of the situation, who can be in a black outfit with lemon coloured turban with his pistol to get out of the ruckus.

Netizens have poured mixed responses on the matter where they are divided marking the incident as a case of “concern”, while a different faction is marking it lightly.

Police have taken stalk of the matter to investigate, however, there is no information available yet on the man seen in the video. It is not the first case from the state, Punjab in general and Amritsar particularly have been witness to a similar fashion of flashing the gun and the gun culture in open especially the middle-aged youth, which stands as a big challenge ahead of the city and state’s law and order.
