Amritsar: Two bike-borne masked miscreants loot Rs 90,000 at petrol pump in shocking CCTV footage; Watch

Amritsar district of Punjab witnessed a robbery on Friday night at a petrol filling station. Two masked bike-borne riders looted Rs. 90,000 from the scene within a few minutes. The whole incident was captured on CCTV.

Reportedly, the robbery took place on Mallian Road in Jandialalguru. Talking about the incident, all the employees were busy with their work when 2 masked bikers came to the petrol pump. One held a pistol in his hand while the other one took out a barrel. The robbers went to the cashier and threatened him to give them all the money he had.

According to the information that has been received, the personnel fought with the robbers but had to give in as the robbers were armed. They threatened the staff of the petrol pump, looted money and fled away. The whole robbery was done in 1.5 minutes.

The CCTV footage that has been recovered shows two miscreants came on a bike and had fully covered their faces. They then took out arms and threatened the people who all were present there. Then the 2 youths rushed to the cashier, took away all the cash and fled from the scene. Due to the night and darkness at the petrol pump, the number of bike was not visible.

The investigation of the matter has been initiated by the police after the complaint was registered by the petrol pump. The officials recorded all the statements of the witnesses and registered a case against the accused.
