Another Covid death in Bollywood: Actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passed away

Interestingly, Bikramjeet was retired army officer who joined the film industry after his retirement.

The year 2021 has also started behaving like 2020. On Saturday morning Bollywood again hears sad news. Television and Bollywood actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passed away due to covid-19 complications. Interestingly, Bikramjeet was a retired army officer who joined the film industry after his retirement. As it is said ‘a soldier is never off duty, this man did not let his retirement ‘retire’ from work.

His death came as a shock to the industry and creates a more tense situation owing to the covid surge. Actor and colleague from the industry Manoj Bajpayee took to his Twitter account and expressed his grief over the loss. The actor writes, “ Oh my God!! What a sad news !! we knew each other for 14 years since the making of 1971! REST IN PEACE MAJOR !! so shocking !!”. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh who worked with Bikramjeet in the movie Bypass Road wrote a heartfelt note for the late actor, “extremely sad news. I’ve known major Bikramjeet for so many years. He and I have worked on so many films together. The last thing being Byepass Road. Such a fantastic, encouraging and energetic human being he was and will always be remembered. #RIP my dear friend will miss you”.

The late actor worked in both Films and television shows. In the television industry, he worked in shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dil Hi Toh Hai and Special Ops. Other than the shows he has also worked in many TV commercials. Some of his mind-blowing works from the film industry include Page 3, the ghazi attack, 2 states, murder 2, and Bypass Road.
