In the aftermath of Ludhiana influencer Kamal Kaur Bhabhi aka Kanchan Kumar's murder, two influencers from Punjab have alleged to have received death threats from Amritpal Singh Mehron. Amritpal Singh Mehron is the prime accused in the murder case of Kamal Kaur Bhabhi. After the murder of Kamal Kaur Bhabhi, Amritpal's video went viral in which he had issued death threats to other influencers as well, including Amritsar-based Deepika Luthra and another influencer Preet Jatti aka Simranpreet Kaur.
Now, influencer Preet Katti, aka Simranpreet Kaur, has shared a video on her Instagram and addressed the controversy. Preet Jatti took to Instagram and shared a tearful account, revealing that she is being harassed via calls from unknown numbers, with threats that she has 'only two days left.' The threats reportedly demand she stop making any video content—even those in traditional attire. She mentioned that despite previously receiving a warning months ago, allegedly from Amritpal Singh Mehron, and discontinuing astrology-related promotions, she continues to face mental harassment.
Jatti emotionally appealed to the public, saying she has a five-month-old baby and is simply working to support her family. “Why are people judging me despite my apology and efforts to correct my mistakes?” she questioned.
Notably, Preet also went live on her social media, in which she talked to an unknown caller who was threatening her to stop making vulgar videos or content.
Following this, Preet took to her Instagram story and posted a note that reads, "(Translated version) Those calling with no caller ID for their own fun—do whatever you want. I don’t care. Go ahead. But let me be clear, I know what was right and what went wrong. If I made a mistake, I apologized. I even met and asked for forgiveness. I went live just to ask what exactly my mistake was, what problem people had with me. Now either tell me or let it go. People can think whatever they want—I’ve apologized and corrected myself. But now, it’s too much. Stop harassing me. There’s a limit to everything. For every mistake, we’re answerable only to God—not to the world or its judgments."
