The latest from Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Qauntumania starring Paul Rudd in the lead marks the first film in phase five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The movie serves as a sequel to Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). The sci-fi is written by Jeff Loveness and directed by Peyton Reed. Scott Lang and his family are venturing into the Quantum Realm and will be facing one of the most powerful MCU villains yet, Kang the Conqueror, in the Ant-Man 3.
Kang who was last seen in Loki season 1, will also be featured in the action-packed Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, he is set to make his first full appearance in his prime form during Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantamania.
Alongside Paul Rudd as Scott Lang or Ant-Man, the film also features Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne or Wasp), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne), Kathryan Newton, Jonathan Majors, David Dastmalchian, and Randall Park. Viewers will also get to see Gregg Turkington, Bill Murray, William, Jacson Harper, and Katy O’Brian among others.
The movie was announced back in 2019 with the developments of the film beginning during the pandemic. Makers started the shooting back in February of 2021. After much of the wait, the movie is now set to release on February 17th worldwide in multiple languages that include Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu in India.

Ant-Man 3 is produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard under Marvel Studios. The film is made at an expected budget of 1655 crores, which is edited by Adam Gerstel and Laura Jennings and it has music by Christophe Beck. In one of the main thrills, Kang the Conqueror will be seen as the main villain in Ant-Man 3.
It is the first movie in MCU’s phase 5, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was the last in Phase 4 and was a huge box office hit. Ant-Man 3 will also have that load of bettering or the least to match up that number. Ant-Man 3 has a runtime of 2hrs 5mins or 125 minutes.
