"The song is blatant and unabashed copy": Anubhav Sinha accuses BJP of using his song for Bihar Elections without his consent

While Bihar Elections is knocking on the doors and therefore every regional and national political parties have started their campaign to win the voters. Recently, the Bharatiya Janata Party released a campaign song in Bhojpuri to highlight the achievements of the NDA and counter growing rhetoric against the Nitish Kumar-led government. The song, titled 'Bihar Me Ee Baa'

The song was inspired by Anubhav Sinha's song 'Bambai Main Ka Ba'. However, the song did not go well with the maker of Bambai Main Ka Ba. Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha slammed the BJP and accused the national party of copying his song without his consent to use it in Bihar Elections 2020.  

Anubhav took to Twitter and shared his official statement with the caption, "Please listen to this song. This doesn't even use the word Bihar once."

Anubhav wrote, "I can't not say this. If I don't say this I will have a problem with myself. My friends tell me to keep quiet and I love them too.But BJP has put out a campaign song for the Bihar elections. The song is blatant and unabashed copy of a song 'Bombai Main Ka Ba', that I released six weeks back."
