"In Loving Memory of Sushant Singh Rajput": AR Rahman pays musical tribute to late actor via virtual concert

Rahman, who has composed the music of Dil Bechara, teamed with daughter Raheema Rahman, son AR Ameen and Hiral Viradia to sing Dil Bechara's title track.

AR Rahman and Bollywood's top singers, who have lent their voice to Dil Bechara's tracks, have come together to pay a musical tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput through a virtual concert. The singers from their respective homes sang Dil Bechara's songs for a live audience.

Dil Bechara stars Sushant and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles. It is the late actor's last film and is directed by Mukesh Chhabra.

Rahman, who has composed the music of Dil Bechara, teamed with daughter Raheema Rahman, son AR Ameen and Hiral Viradia to sing Dil Bechara's title track.

In the beginning of the video, we see Rahman saying, "The music of Dil Bechara will always remain special to all of us. The nine tracks that I composed for the film have a new meaning today, a whole new life. I wish Mukesh Chhabra and everyone who is part of this project, my best wishes. May God give us the strength to brave these challenging times. These songs are dedicated in the loving memory of Sushant Singh Rajput."

Then we see Sunidhi Chauhan and Hriday Gattani singing the film's song Maskhari. Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal also come together to sing the film's song, Taare Ginn. Arijit Singh and Shashaa Tirupati sing Khulke Jeene Ka. And, by the end, Jonita Gandhi and Hriday Gattani sing Main Tumhara.

Dil Bechara will release on Disney+Hotstar on July 24.
