In a surprising turn of events, Oscar-winning music composer and singer AR Rahman was stopped from singing during a live concert in Pune on Sunday. According to the police, the program was continuing after 10 pm, and permission was not taken from the organizers to continue after that time. Rahman, who was performing in Pune's Raja Bahadur Mill area, was asked to stop the program midway.

Rahman obeyed the police and went back stage, ending the program. He later thanked his fans for their love and enthusiasm and shared some pictures of the concert on social media.

This incident comes just a few days after Rahman's wife, Saira, was stopped from speaking in Hindi at an award show in Chennai. Rahman, who was called on stage with his wife, interrupted her and asked her to speak in Tamil, as it was the local language. Saira apologized to the audience, stating that she didn't know Tamil well.
