Amidst the speculations that the Narcotics Control Bureau has paused its investigation ever since the Bombay High Court rubbished the agency's charges against Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, the agency on Sunday made a big arrest.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday, arrested Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisialos Demetriades. Agisialos was arrested in the drugs case that emerged in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Going by the media reports, NCB seized hashish and alprazolam tablets from him. The NCB got to know that Gabriella’s brother was in touch with drug peddlers from the Sushant Singh Rajput-Rhea Chakraborty case. Agisialos was allegedly an active supplier of drugs in the industry.
Now, Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella has made her Instagram profile private. Gabriella is an entrepreneur who’s an avid social media user often shares her stunning clicks and some adorable pictures of her with boyfriend Arjun Rampal and their son Arik.
Interestingly, Gabriella's brother was arrested after a day when alleged drug peddler Jay Mmadhok was arrested by the NCB. As per reports, Jay Madhok was in touch with Kshitij Ravi Prasad, the former executive producer, and director associated with Dharma Productions.
A few weeks ago reports in media went viral that Kshitij had named many Bollywood stars including Arjun Rampal in drugs case. However, later his lawyer Satish Maneshinde had accused the NCB that it tortured Kshitij to take names of certain Bollywood stars.
Now, all eyes on the NCB and if developments go in right direction the agency's hand might reach Arjun Rampal as well.
