Republic TV Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami seems to get in deep trouble as the WhatsApp Chats of more than 500 pages of the journalist has been allegedly leaked on social media. Since the morning Arnab Goswami has been trending on social media. In the TRP Scam case, a 500-page document of WhatsApp chat between Arnab Goswami and former BARC CEO Partho Das Gupta has been allegedly leaked online.
If the leaked chats turn out to be genuine, it reveals many serious problems. In one of the chats, it is quite evident that Arnab has connections in Prime Minister's Office. The chats also open a plethora of questions. It shows he actually had some role in manipulating TRPs, he had a connection with the ruling BJP government.
In one of the messages, former BARC CEO Partho allegedly sends a confidential BARC letter with Goswami saying that he has jammed the News Broadcasters Association. In reply Goswami allegedly brags about his connection with the PMO.
In one of the chats, Arnab was also seen to be saying that he was going to meet the PM. As per chats, Partho told Goswami that TRAI is going to reform its way of measuring TRP and it is going to install the software in the set-up box. And it would hurt both Republic and the BJP.
His chats also reveals that Partho told Arnab to use his influence with top ruling party leaders to sabotage TRAI reform to install automatic digital measurement software to replace the manual and corrupt system of meter installation households.
Now, all these WhatsApp chats of Arnab and Partho has been leaked on the same day when the Bombay High Court adjourned the hearing in TRP Scam Case till January 29th.
