The 52 year old music maestro AR Rehman is one of the hand-picked guests for the 91st Academy Awards. He had shared the updates of the Oscars 2019 from Los Angeles on his Instagram account. Initially he had posted a picture of himself from the red carpet, suited in black. The photo appears to be taken AR Rehman was on his way to the Dolby Theatre, where the event was to take place.
In the year 2009, AR Rehman had made history by winning two precious Oscar awards. He had won the Best Original Song Oscar (shared with Gulzar) for 'Jai Ho'and another one for Best Original Score. Rehman's double victory at the Oscars 2019 had made him the first Indian to win two Academy Awards in a single night.
