Arrested for blackmailing, girl granted Bail in Kulhad Pizza Couple Leaked Video Case

In the Kulhad Pizza couple leaked video case, Additional Sessions Judge Taran Taran Singh Bindra granted bail to Tanisha Verma after hearing the arguments.

While the Kulhad Pizza couple leaked video controversy seems to have settled down,  a major update in the case came on Thursday. As per reports, a girl named Tanisha Verma who was arrested by Jalandhar Police in the Kulhad Pizza couple leaked video case has been granted bail.  Tanisha Verma, a former employee of Jalandhar's famous Kulhad Pizza, is accused of blackmailing Sehaj Arora & his wife Gurpreet Kaur by making a fake account on Instagram. 

 

As per reports, Additional Sessions Judge Taran Taran Singh Bindra granted bail to Tanisha Verma after hearing the argument made by both parties.  It is pertinent to mention here that two women were arrested including an 18-year-old teenager who studied at Khalsa College in the Kulhad Pizza Couple leaked controversy. 

 

The aunt of the arrested girl had accused Sehaj of forcefully using her niece's phone and keeping it for 24 hours hinting that he might have leaked his own video.

 

Talking to the media, the arrested girl's aunt had said, "She has been accused that her phone has been used to circulate the videos. The Police have stated that the Instagram account that was used to blackmail and circulate the Kulhad Pizza Couple Video was made through her phone. As per the Police, the IP address shows Instagram ID was created from her phone. However, Sehaj once confiscated every staff's one day. Not only this, he even used the girl's phone for one day. She just worked there for 1 month. She worked because she thought of paying her fees by working part-time. She is just 18 years old and study in Khalsa College."

 

After the Kulhad Pizza Couple video went viral on social media, Sehaj Arora issued a statement saying that the clip going viral was totally fake and made by using AI technology by the blackmailers. A day after that, Jalandhar Police arrested a 23-year-old woman named Soniya who turned out to be their former employee who was fired in the first week of September 2023.
