The Narcotics Control Bureau (NBU) arrested Arjun Rampal’s
girlfriend’s brother for the third time in the same case. The Zonal Director of
the area, Sameer Wankhede had been supervising an operation to target and
exposes the local peddlers and stop the sale and consumption of drugs.
Agisilaos Demetriades had been arrested twice before in
the same case when the NCB had raided a resort in Lonavala. Gabriella’s brother
had been granted bail by the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS)
on security of Rs 50,000.
After which Agisilaos had been ordered not to leave
the city without the permission of the NCB while his Passport had also been
confiscated. The Zonal director also informed that Agisilaos had been produced
in front of a court and has been sent to two-week custody.
Last year the NCB had started closely monitoring the
Bollywood industry and exposed many known faces in Narcotics consumption cases.
This initiative was launched after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Right after the shocking death, the actor’s then-partner Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik had been booked related to the same. During the same time, reputed actors like Deepika Padukone including her manager, Karishma Prakash, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sara Ali Khan were interrogated.
