Among the most awaited Bollywood movies of the month, Article 370 was released in theaters on February 23, 2024. Ever since its theatrical release, Article 370 has become the talk of the town among fans on social media. In fact, on Sunday, Article 370 started to trend on X with fans hailing the makers for bringing out the true story of an important chapter of India. Talking about makers, Article 370 is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and Produced by the makers of Uri i.e. Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar. Article 370 is a true story based on the series of events leading to the scrapping of the temporary law that gave special status to Jammu & Kashmir. For the unversed, Article 370 was scrapped by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the Parliament on August 5, 2019. Talking about Article 370 OTT release date, the Yami Gautam starrer movie is running successfully in theaters. Therefore, the Article 370 OTT release date has not been announced. However, if the makers follow the typical 90-day rule, Article 370 is likely to be released in the last of April. However, since Lok Sabha Election 2024 is on the cards and scrapping Article 370 was a major poll promise of the Modi Government, then the movie can be released early. 

 

Talking about Article 470 OTT release platform or Article 370 streaming platform, the Yami Gautam starrer movie is most likely to be released on Jio Cinema. Notably, Article 370 has been made under the banner of Jio Studios, therefore, the movie is most likely to be released on its streaming platform. However, there is no official announcement and it has been witnessed that movies made under Jio Studios have been released on different streaming platforms in the past. 

 

Notably, before the release of the movie, a section of the media termed Article 370 a propaganda movie. Breaking his silence on the same, producer Aditya Dhar stated that the current government does not require his film to win the elections.

 

"It was during the trailer launch event that Dhar explained the intent of the film. “The intent of the film is correct and till the time I am a filmmaker, producer, and director, the intent will always be right. The day the intent is wrong, I will stop making films. I don’t care what people say especially those who are agenda-given critics," Dhar was quoted saying.
