The Indian government has sent 59 Members of Parliament (MPs) from different political parties to approximately 33 countries to explain “Operation Sindoor” and counter the fake information by Pakistan. These 59 representatives have been divided into seven groups. However, a few groups have even returned to India after a successful trip.

One of these groups, including MP Ashok Mittal, BJP MP Captain Brijesh Chauta, MP Rajeev Rai, and eight other MPs, visited Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, and Russia.

During the trip, MP Ashok Mittal highlighted the key points about Operation Sindoor and clarified that the conflict was not started by Indian Forces. He outlined that Pakistan has been behind terrorism in India for the last 40 years, adding that the majorly impacted states are Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

Further, MP Mittal outlined the fact that the recent Pahalgam attack was heart-wrenching for every Indian as terrorists attacked the tourists after asking them about their religion.

Additionally, he took the platform as an opportunity to explain to the world that India has given Pakistan a timeline of 15 days to act against terrorism, but there is no response or comment, following which India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, and targeted around nine terrorist hideouts.

MP Mittal also mentioned that during this operation, India intelligently and strategically and all the civilians of the neighboring country were avoided during the attack. Following this, on May 10, Pakistan approached Indian high officials for a ceasefire, and eventually, India accepted, and now both countries are at peace.

At the global level, MP Ashok Mittal further stated that India does not support war; however, he advised Pakistan to stop the terrorism as it has a long-standing history of sponsoring terrorism nationwide.

During his visit, Mittal met foreign ministers and officials who agreed that terrorism in Pakistan should end and assured support to India.

The MPs are expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week to present their reports on Operation Sindoor and India’s efforts against terrorism. According to reports, PM Modi may meet all seven delegation groups on June 9 or 10.
