On a day filled with glory, India added five more medals to its impressive tally. Archery compound events played a significant role, contributing four medals, including two gold, one silver, and one bronze.

Indian archers showcased their excellence on October 7th, with two gold medals, one silver, and one bronze. Aditi Gopichand Swami secured India's first gold in the compound individual women's event, defeating Malaysia's Ratiha Fadli.
