TikTok sensation Ssiya Kakkar's suicide has jolted the nation after Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. The 16-years-old TikTok star died by suicide on June 25. She was found hanging at her Preet Vihar residence in New Delhi. Former Big Boss contestant and boyfriend of Himanshi Khurana, Asim Riaz has responded to the increasing rate of suicides. Sharing the picture of Siya, Asim wrote on Instagram, "Unfortunate demise of a Young talented girl who could have achieved lot in her life. guys plz stay positive and Firm in your life which may erase any kind of negativity.. Rest in peace."

Before Asim, Television actor and anchor, Jay Bhanushali went into shock the news of Siya Kakkar's suicide. Posting a video on his Instagram, Jay said, as a father, he was ''very hurt'' by the news of Siya Kakkar's death. He wrote in his caption, "Condolences to the family of @siya_kakkar guys pls suicide is not the solution think about your parents before taking such big step nothing is bigger or important than your parents.. everything will be fine just keep fighting..#RIP".
