Shailesh could not be reached but media sources had told that Shailesh has not had any track for the past few weeks and hence has not shot for the show. Significantly, Disha Vakani became popular by playing the character of 'Daya' in the show. She took maternity leave a few years back, after which she did not return to the show. Neha Mehta played the role of Anjali Bhabhi. The audience sees Raj in the role of Tapu on TV. Apart from these, other famous characters associated with this serial had also quit the show over the years.
