A mob of 200 people attacked the ISKCON Radhakanta temple in Dhaka, extremists targeting Hindus

The extremists from Bangladesh have once again started targeting Hindu temples. An incident for the same has come forward, where a mob of 200 people attacked the ISKCON Radhakanta temple in Dhaka. They carried out the incident of ransacking and looting. 

Reportedly three people have been injured in the attack. Haji Shafiullah was leading the mob who attacked the temple. Radharaman Das the ISKCON India Vice President asked the United Nations why they are silent?

Radharaman Das took his Twitter and said, “It’s very very unfortunate incident on the eve of Dol Yatra & Holi celebrations. Just a few days ago, United Nations passed a resolution declaring 15th March as International day to combat Islamophobia.”

He further wrote, “We r surprised that same United Nations is mute to the suffering of thousands of helpless Bangladeshi & Pakistani minorities. So many of the Hindu minorities have lost their lives, property, have been raped, but alas, all United Nations can do is ponder upon Islamophobia.”

There are many such incidents in Bangladesh where Hindu temples were attacked by the mob. Bangladesh has a long history of attacks on Hindus. There was an attack on the Hindu minority in 1990. Many Hindus were killed in the violence.
