

Further accelerating the pace of ongoing drive to coverall eligible beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna,Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori today launched E-cards generation servicesat all 26 type-2 Sewa Kendras in the district.
While unveiling the e-cards program in the said sewakendras at the district administrative complex, the Deputy Commissioner saidthat as many as 262520 families in the district are eligible to avail thebenefit of cashless treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh under the scheme.
He called upon people to get them enrolled under thescheme by visiting Sewa Kendras, CSCs, and government healthcare institutionsalong with their Aadhar cards. He said that the E-card generation services havebeen launched in all 26 type-2 Swea Kendras comprising near BDPO officeAdampur, near bus stand Alawalpur, backside Patwarkhana Phillaur, backside busstand Nakodar, Bara Pind road Goraya, Basti Mithu, Bhogpur, Dussehra GroundShahkot, EOCP Noormahal, Gonse Mohalla, Nakodar, Guru Amardass Colony,Kartarpur, Major Rohit Sharma Government School, Model Town, near tube well No.2 Goraya, New Sabji Mandi, Maqsoodan, opp Parminder Hospital Hoshiarpur Road,Phull Road Lohian, Primary Health Centre Mehatpur, Punjab Institute of MedicalSciences Garha Road, Suwidha Centre SDM office Nakodar, Suwidha Centre SDMOfficer Phillaur, Sewa Kendra under ROB Domoria Bridge, Village Dhilwan nearelementary school village Khurla Kingra road, opposite government high schoolvillage Kot Sadiq, and village Ladhewali.
The deputy commissioner further said that these e-cardgeneration services would soon also start at remaining six Sewa Kendras of thetype-3 category from February 26 onwards. He directed Sewa Kendra operators toput their maximum efforts to make this scheme a great success besides makingJalandhar a leading district in E-cards generation. The deputy commissioneralso announced reward and honor for the top performer operators generating thehighest number of E-cards adding he asked the officials of the governancereform department to develop a system to analyze the performance of everyoperator.
Meanwhile, he also reviewed the pendency of Sewa Kendrasand expressed his satisfaction over the current pendency rate of 0.02 percent,which is the lowest in the state. He said that as many as 201897 people havereceived various citizen-centric services from Sewa Kendras and only 46 applicationswere lying pending and asked operators to make more efforts to bring thispendency to the Zero figure.
