Going by the reports of web-portal Spotboye, Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming film 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' was originally meant for late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. After completing Kedarnath, director Abhishek Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput began discussing their next project which was reportedly 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui'.
Now, Ayushmann Khurana will be acting in the movie in place of Sushant Singh Rajput opposite Vaani Kapoor. Abhishek Kapoor launched Sushant in Hindi cinema with Kai Po Che. However, when Sushant refused to do Kapoor’s next film Fitoor (Sushant didn’t believe in the script) Kapoor went to Aditya Roy Kapur. Fitoor was a massive flop. After then Abhishek Kapoor partnered with Sushant to make the hit Kedarnath which was Sara Ali Khan's debut movie.
