Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl was one of the biggest hits and highest-grossing films of the year. The actor on 13th of February 2023 took to his Instagram account to announce the film’s sequel, titled Dream Girl 2. Along with the release date, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2’s teaser gave a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan playing cameo in the movie.
Talking about the release date, be ready to witness Pooja’s sweet voice in Dream Girl 2 on 7th July 2023. The film is all set to hit the big screens and for time being will not be releasing on any OTT platforms. Apart from this, the teaser shows Shah Rukh Khan playing a cameo in the film as Pathaan. In Dream Girl 2’s teaser, Ayushmann Khurrana can be seen flirting with very handsome ‘Pathaan’ on the call. Ayushmann Khurrana can be seen wearing a backless pink lehenga with jewellery and makeup on point. Ayushmann will be playing the role of Karam as well as a girl named Pooja in Dream Girl 2.
Talking about the storyline of the film, Dream Girl 2 is the journey of a small-town boy from Mathura named Karam. He falls in love with a girl named Pari(Ananya Panday). Suddenly, his life takes a serious turn for which he becomes Pooja. This character of his brings more problems to his already chaotic life. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh.
