A local government holiday has been announced in connection with the world-famous Shri Sidh Baba Sodal fair being celebrated in the city.
In the instructions issued in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh said that devotees from all over the country and abroad come to pay obeisance at Shri Siddha Baba Sodal Mela being celebrated on Anant Chaudas.
In this, all kinds of services are provided to the devotees by the departments related to the people including the district administration, municipal corporation, police, traffic department and health department.
Due to this, on September 9, all types of government offices, corporation offices, board offices and all kinds of educational institutions will be closed.
