In recent news, rapper Badshah has been accused of hurting the religious sentiments of people with the lyrics of his new song. A complaint was filed by an organization called 'Parshuram Sena' in the police station of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday. The complaint claims that the word 'Bholenath' used in the song contains objectionable lyrics that hurt the sentiments of Hindus. Some people also protested in front of the police station and burnt an effigy of the artist.

Badshah has been in the news recently for his wedding rumours with his longtime girlfriend, Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi. However, the rapper has denied the rumours on his Instagram story, calling them baseless. Badshah was previously married to Jasmine Masih in 2012, and the couple became parents to their daughter Jessemy Grace Masih Singh in 2017, but they separated in 2020.

The police official, Santosh Singh, has said that action will be taken after the allegations are investigated. Vinod Dwivedi, the lawyer for the organization, claimed that the lyrics of Badshah's new song 'Sanak' contained objectionable lyrics, and the use of the word 'Bholenath' had hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.
