BAFTA 2024 Winners List: Oppenheimer wins best film, Emma Stone best actress

The film fraternity of the world is on the road to the Oscars 2024. Before the much-awaited coveted event, the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) went underway on Sunday (British time) in London. At the BAFTA 2024, actors, actresses, filmmakers, designers, and technical and non-technical people were honoured at the British show which showcased exemplary work in the world of movies in 2023. Despite becoming the highest-earning movie in the world in the year 2023, Barbie could not secure prestigious awards in multiple categories. On the other hand, Christopher Nolan's directorial Oppenheimer won big at the 2024 BAFTA. The BAFTA also induced a touch of India as it invited Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone as an award presenter. Deepika Padukone at the BAFTA stole the limelight in her silver Sabhya Sanchi Saree and presented presented director Jonathan Glazer with the award for Best Film Not In The English Language for The Zone Of Interest.
