Soon, people will not be able to see marriage scenes of Anand Karaj (sikh weddings) in films and TV serials. These scenes were shot by making a fake Gurudwara Sahib, but after the incident in Mohali, the highest institution of Sikhs, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, and the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC), declared it wrong. Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh has also sought a report from SGPC in this matter, after which orders can be issued by Akal Takht regarding this. Earlier, a ban was imposed on carrying Sri Guru Granth Sahib to the marriage palace. Recently, the shooting of the Punjabi TV serial Udaariyan was going on in Mohali, in which a fake Gurudwara Sahib set was made. As soon as this was known, Nihangs created a ruckus and stopped the shooting. After this, the police came there and calmed the matter.

Jathedar of Sri Akal Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh condemned the incident of showcasing fake Gurdwara Sahib during the shooting of a serial in Mohali. He said that people in the film industry are playing with Sikh traditions by giving priority to their business. Strict action will have to be taken against them.

If a music actor, director, or assistant staff member is found guilty or involved in this incident, action will be taken against them as per Sikh traditions. Soon, a meeting of Panch Singh Sahib will be held, and a strict decision will be taken to ban showing the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in films in the future.

In a statement issued by the Sri Akal Takth Sahab Jathedar, Giani Raghbir Singh stated that he will never tolerate the shooting of dramas and fake marriages in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji or in Gurdwara Sahib.

Akal Takth Jathedar said that for some time complaints have been received that films and TV serials are filming fake marriages in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which has deeply hurt the sentiments of every religious Sikh.

He said that setting up a fake Gurudwara Sahib for the film set of Anand Karaj is against Sikh traditions. Apart from the fake set of Gurudwara Sahib in Garhwa, a complaint has also been received about the actor smoking, which was completely unacceptable.

Will give an order on the SGPC report.

Akal Takht Jathedars said that they will soon seek a report from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee on the entire incident of the shooting of fake Gurdwara and Anant Karaj in Garhwa. He stated that "Shiromani Gurdwara Committee to take legal action against it".

Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami strongly condemned the insult of money and the acts that hurt Sikh traditions in films and serials and said that such incidents that hurt Sikh sentiments will not be tolerated. It was revealed through social media that the scene of Anant Karaj was filmed by imitating the Prakash of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in the set prepared for shooting near Chandigarh, which is a violation of traditions and etiquette. Although the Sangat has shown courage to stop it, the police administration must take action against the culprits. The Shiromani Committee President said that during the shooting of films, special care should be taken to ensure that there is no tampering with Sikh traditions and principles. He said that it is sad that some people violate the traditions of religion in business only to earn money. The Shiromani Committee President reprimanded such people and asked them to stay away. He said that a report of this incident will be made so that necessary action can be taken against the accused.

Nirmal Rishi, head of the Punjabi Film Association, said that

"I do not know the full details of the incident that happened in Mohali, but the way Nihangs beat up the artists and broke the cameras is wrong. We have come to know that only a setup was installed at the shooting place.

In Gurbani, Guru Sahib has only written the language of love and not of lifting the sword. In this way, if the setup of marriage in films is banned, then the film industry will be harmed somewhere."
