With June 2025 coming to an end, banks and other financial institutions are summing up their work. Bank Holidays June 2025 Details
June 27- As per the RBI's holidays calendar, banks will remain closed on this date in Bhubaneswar (Odisha) and Imphal (Manipur). The reason for the bank closure on this date, especially in these cities, is because of festivals like Ratha Yatra and Kang (Rathajatra).
June 30- As per the RBI's holidays calendar, banks will remain closed on this date only in Aizawl. The reason for the bank holiday on this day is Remna Ni. It is celebrated on June 30 every year to honour the signing of the Mizoram Peace Accord.
Notably, June 28 and June 29 are the fourth Saturday and Sunday, respectively. As per the RBI's guidelines, 'all scheduled and non-scheduled banks will observe public holiday on the second and fourth Saturdays'. Hence, Punjab as well as the entire India will observe a bank holiday on June 28 and June 29.
Therefore, you are advised to complete your financial task by visiting the bank's branch if it is important. Notably, online banking, ATMs, and UPIs will continue to work.
