The departure of Lionel Messi from Barcelona became a big issue in the summer of 2021 yesterday. No one expected Messi to leave in such a pathetic way. Messi spent 21 years with Barcelona. However, the Argentine star was forced to leave his beloved club after failing to get a new contract.

Messi's departure is certainly a blow to Barcelona. The Blaugrana have lost their main goal machine and have struggled to find the net this season. However, behind the sadness, some players benefit. Anyone?

Ferran Jutgla

When there was a shortage of forwards due to injury, Xavi Hernandez decided to promote players from Barcelona B. One of the players who was brought into the first team was Ferran Jutgla.
The 23-year-old has played nine games in all competitions with Barcelona.

He managed to record two goals from his appearance. Judge is now back playing for the youth team. However, Barcelona fans will surely be excited to see him back in first-team action when the opportunity presents itself.

Abde Ezzalzouli

Abde Ezzalzouli is another young player who gets his chance in the Barcelona first team. Despite his lack of experience, Ezzalzouli proved to the world that he can be a dangerous player on the flanks.

Ezzalzouli got the chance to appear in 12 games in all competitions for Barcelona. He managed to contribute one goal from his appearance.

While his stats may not be that impressive, Ezzalzouli's efforts on the pitch are commendable. He constantly disrupts the opponent's defence with his incredible speed and dribbling skills.

Adama Traore

Barcelona signed Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January 2022 transfer window. The player is on loan until the end of this season with a permanent purchase option.

So far this season, Traore has played nine times in all competitions for Barcelona. The La Masia academy dropout managed to pack four Assists. Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernandez is quite satisfied with Traore's performance. The Spanish tactician reportedly wants to make the player permanent.

Ferran Torres

Barcelona signed Ferran Torres from Manchester City in December last year to improve their attacking line. The Spaniard was signed by the Blaugrana for a fee of 55 million euros and a five-year contract at Camp Nou. The 22-year-old has made 11 appearances in all competitions for the Blaugrana so far this season.

Torres recorded three goals and three Assists. Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez likes Torres. The former Valencia player is likely to continue to be Xavi's mainstay in the Blaugrana's attack line.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Barcelona probably won't sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as long as Lionel Messi is at the club. However, the arrival of the player from Gabon proved to be one of the best transfers of the Blaugrana.

Aubameyang joined Barcelona in the winter after breaking his contract with Arsenal. The player did not take long to immediately set up the Blaugrana game.

Aubameyang has scored five goals in eight appearances in all competitions in a Barcelona shirt. Xavi Hernandez's side still hasn't lost while Aubameyang has been on the pitch.
