Barnala: There was a fierce scuffle between the unemployed teachers union and the police in Punjab's Barnala on Sunday. The police are trying to stop the teachers who were adamant about the gherao of the Education Minister's residence, while the teachers were not agreeing.
There was a fierce debate on both sides regarding this. On the other hand, due to heavy heat and arguments between the police, many teachers also fainted. During this, the police have clearly said that it will not be allowed to proceed. Arguments and fights continue in the police force among teachers.
Teachers Broke Police Barricade
Teachers going to gherao the Barnala residence of Education Minister Punjab Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer broke the police barricade.
PTI Unemployed Teachers Union alleged that Education and Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hare was the same person who used to sit with the union on dharna on water tanks. Waking up at 4 in the morning, used to join the union's dharna.
Called Education minister a traitor

But now Education and Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer neither pick up the phone nor give time to meet. He said that now these dharnas will continue as the common man has become special.
