North India has been witnessing record-breaking high temperatures and a red alert has been issued in multiple states including Punjab, New Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and even Bihar. New Delhi recently registered its maximum temperature of all time at more than 50 degrees Celsius. Multiple cities of Punjab too witnessed more than 45 degrees Celsius. In Bihar, several students fainted in the classroom and were admitted to the hospital. Well, the 2024 summer has indeed pushed Indians in the North to the edge. To beat the heat, people are embracing their own unique way. While some have accepted their defeat from the heat and are staying indoors, some are preparing to stay in an Air-conditioned room. But, not everyone can afford AC and not everyone works inside a cabin.

There are people who work outside the office and in states like Bihar and Rajasthan, the local hot winds i.e. Loo can even make your health from bad to worse. However, in Ayurveda, there is a flower that is claimed to keep you refreshed and even protect you from the loo. Yes! you heard it right. The name of the flower is Palash Flower or Butea monosperma.

As per News18 report, if you want to protect yourself from heat stroke, you can use Palaash flowers. Soak these flowers in water while bathing and after some time take a bath with this water, which will make your body cool and refreshed.

The report quoted Dr. Shobhalal Odichya of Government Ayurvedic Hospital located in Sindhi Bazaar of Udaipur city. Doctor Shobhalal informed that these days all the Ayurvedic hospitals of Rajasthan have been supplied with Palash flowers in abundance. By soaking these flowers in water for some time and bathing in this water, the heat of the body ends immediately. Even if you are going out of the house in the scorching sun, you should bath with this water. It maintains moisture in the body and protects from the scorching heat.

It is pertinent to mention here that Ayurveda and Allopathy often contradict each other. Therefore, True Scoop News advises you to consult your doctors before embracing any such method.
