Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) reached Bhogpur in Punjab to conduct a road show ahead of the state's assembly elections. During his address to the people, Mann made a controversial statement, stating that there was no point in voting for the Congress party, as Rahul Gandhi would not become the Prime Minister of India. He added that even if people vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), they would only manage to win one seat, which would not make any difference to the current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Mann also assured the people that if his party wins the election, they would start a wave of development in the state. He claimed that his government has closed all the routes that the previous leaders had made to loot the treasury, and as a result, people are getting free electricity with the same amount of money.

Furthermore, Mann stated that he used to keep a distance from the people because he was from a special family. But now, as the Chief Minister of the state, he has come among the people, and he urged them to vote in favor of his party's candidate, Sushil Rinku.

In addition, Mann highlighted that he and his family were being abused daily by his political opponents, who are allegedly involved in corrupt practices. However, he said that their abuses do not work in front of the people's applause.

After his road show in Bhogpur, Mann headed to Adampur, where he interacted directly with the people during his road shows. He started his road show from Government Girls Senior Secondary School and covered the entire Adampur market and adjoining areas. The Aam Aadmi Party candidate, Sushil Rinku, confirmed that Mann's road show would appeal to the people to vote in favor of their party candidate.
