CM Bhagwant Mann's Net Worth: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is going to tie the knot for the second time on thursday with Dr Gurpreet Kaur. Mann got divorced from his first wife Inderpreet Kaur in 2016. He has two children, who live in America with Bhagwant Mann's first wife.
Mann, who is going to get married for the second time, is the owner of property worth crores. Along with this, he also has two luxurious SUV cars. Bhagwant Mann had given details of his entire assets in the affidavit given during the Punjab Assembly elections this year.
Rs. 1.49 crore Immovable Assets
Mann, 48, had told about his assets and debts in the affidavit during his nomination. According to the affidavit, Bhagwant Mann had total assets of Rs 1.97 crore. It has immovable assets worth Rs 1.49 crore and movable assets worth Rs 48.10 lakh. Comedian-turned-politician Bhagwant Mann had told that he has two Toyota Fortuners worth Rs 27 lakh and a Chevrolet Cruze car worth Rs 3 lakh.
Agricultural Land Worth Crores
According to the affidavit, Bhagwant Mann had gold jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh, weighing 95 grams, household items worth Rs 5.50 lakh and a gun worth Rs 20,000. He had declared his total income for the year 2020-21 as Rs 18.34 lakh. Apart from this, there is agricultural land worth Rs 1.12 crore in the name of Bhagwant Mann in Sangrur, Punjab. He also has commercial assets worth Rs 37 lakh in Patiala.
According to the affidavit, Bhagwant Mann does not have any residential property. Bhagwant Mann had a car loan of Rs 22.47 lakh and government dues of Rs 7.87 lakh. In the year 2015, Bhagwant Mann was married to Inderpreet Kaur, but now both have separated.
Bhagwant Mann's son and daughter are still studying. Mann's children (Dilshan Mann and Seerat Kaur Mann) were seen at his swearing-in ceremony. Bhagwant Mann came to politics in 2011 and became a Lok Sabha MP for the first time in 2014.
