The Punjab Government would complete the remaining workof Bhai Jaita Ji memorial at Sri Anandpur Sahib by the end of this year.  The Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singhhad issued directions for the completion of this memorial and the department ofTourism and Cultural Affairs has floated a tender of Rs 12 Crore works for thecompletion of this project.

Disclosing this here today Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi,Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Punjab said that a tender has beenfloated for the completion of this memorial on the occasion of Bhai Jaita ji'sbirthday. He assured that Bhai Jaita ji memorial would be completed by the endof this year. He said that detailed information on the life of Bhai Jaita jiwould be portrayed in this memorial.

Mr. Channi said that Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial is one of themain attractions for the visitors at Sri Anandpur Sahib. This memorial wouldhave a unique 50 feet high 'Khanda', in the water body which would weigh about32 tons.

The Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs said thatin addition to this detailed information about the life of Bhai Jaita ji andhis contribution would be also displayed and presented in the memorial. Thevisitors would be briefed about all the historical facts of how Bhai Jaita jibrought Seesh of the ninth Guru of the Sikhs Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji fromChandni Chowk in Delhi to Sri Anandpur Sahib.
