Bharat Bandh: Know which roads & areas are closed in Punjab today

United Kisan Morcha and National Trade Unions had announced Bharat Bandh on Friday (February 16). In light of this, many organizations of Punjab are also in support of this bandh. This Bharat Bandh will cause processions to remain closed from 6 am to 4 pm. But along with this, traffic jam will be imposed on main roads from 12 noon to 4 pm. During this Bharat Bandh, demonstrations will be organized at 117 places in 23 districts on behalf of 37 farmer organizations and trade unions of the United Kisan Morcha in Punjab.

Farmer will provide exemption only for these four reasons:

• They say that emergency services will not be stopped and people going for medical emergency will not be stopped.
• Students going to take exams will not be stopped
• People going for marriage will also not be stopped, along with this, people going for lava processions in Gurudwara will also not be stopped.
• If any person is going to travel by train or air travel, then he should carry his ticket with him and he will not be stopped.
