The pictures of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala and other supporters will not be removed from the buses of Punjab Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) and PEPSU. Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and several Punjab Roadways unions recently objected to the government's decision, and as a result, PEPSU withdrew the orders to remove the pictures.

Earlier the Punjab Police objected and asked the drivers and conductors of some buses of Punjab Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) and PEPSU to take down the photos of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala and his followers from the buses. An order was issued to the commissioners and district heads of the state by the ADGP Law and Order Punjab office, in which the numbers of the buses were also mentioned, which have pictures of Singh Bhindranwala, Jagtar Singh Hawara, and some provocative terminology has also been written. ADGP has ordered to remove these pictures and slogans from public and government buses as soon as possible.

Later the orders of the police department were condemned by SGPC member Gurcharan Singh Garewal. He said that in these orders the photographs of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala and other supporters were said to be objectionable, which is wrong. Such orders affect the faith of the people of Punjab.
According to the sources, Professor Mahinderpal Singh, the leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal in Amritsar, met Poonamdeep Kaur, the managing director of PEPSU, to discuss the same. PEPSU then issued a letter of withdrawal.
