“I’m not Bhopali.. Bhopali means homosexual,” says The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri

In the viral video, Vivek Agnihotri can be seen saying, “I have grown up in Bhopal, but I am not Bhopali. Because Bhopali has a different notation. Ask a Bhopali. I'll explain to you sometime in private. People will say that they are Bhopali, which means in general that they are homosexuals. Nawabi is a man of passion.”



His discussion with the news portal is said to be about three weeks old. This controversial part of it went viral tonight at around 1 pm. It is being linked to his Bhopal tour. Vivek is in Bhopal today. He met CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the Chief Minister's residence. He has come to Bhopal to attend a program.

The movie has been made tax-free in several states, including Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tripura, Goa, and Uttarakhand.

On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Thursday that if people are so eager to watch 'The Kashmir Files', they should ask director Vivek Agnihotri to put the film on YouTube.

Furthermore, the Delhi chief minister also insinuated that ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a movie not grounded in reality and that is a “jhoothi” movie.
